My favourite character would be Jane Bingum from the Drop Dead Diva series. Jane is very determined and a strong willed person. She will put in her best effort for every case and will find a loophole if every evidence is against her client. And she never fails to win every case. At the court, when she is defending the client, she is a complete diva and she is taking charge. She also have this really close friend, Stacy, who will support her in every way. Also, she can sing! I absolutely love her voice.
For that, i really admire her. Unlike her, I'm not a diva. I don't really have a good friend who will be there for me, for everything that hapens to me. I don't know if i can sing, but like i said, i love her singing voice.

I personally think that unseen poetry is a great way to introduce us to different kinds of poems and is a kind of challlenge for us since we have never seen these poems before. These poems may help develope a love for literature and also allow us to tackle different kinds of challenges. It may also help in our english and the use of words.
The Lit Performance.

Gahh. I'm doing this post last minute. Anyways, I think that our group has been progressing well, although I have missed some of the group meetings... I'm lucky to have great people in my group - Yiting and Ashikin. They can perform really well and Ashikin is a great director. I managed to memorise my lines at the last minute. (Wow. why do I do everything last minute?) and I've know what to wear for my costumes although I haven't actually confirm with the rest of the group members.
There have been some "miscommunications' at first because I didn't know what my group was heading towards, it's okay now. I must confess I haven't really helped out with the props. Not an excuse, but I didn't know what they wanted... Like I said, my group is progressing well, but the only thing I'm worried is that I will forget my lines or just simply forget something or I just screw up. I don't want that to happen.
Last but not least, I just hope that things will go on smoothly and that nothing bad will actually happen.

What is Macbeth about?:
Macbeth is about a main character who was a general being told that he will soon gain power and rule over the country. Being persuaded by his wife, Lady Macbeth, who was blinded by greed. Told Macbeth to overthrow the current King, King Duncan, by killing him. But before that, his country was involved in a war. But they defeated the enemy. Soon, before they could even rest, another country planned to attack on them. Again, Macbeth won the war. He and the other country had to sign a treaty. The Norwegain King has to pay him tern thousand dollars and retreat to Saint Colme's inch before he could let him bury his men.

Hellos, it's been a while since I have posted in this blog, huh? Well, on Monday, 14th of February, Miss Maly went through and summarised Act 1 Scene 2 of Macbeth. The original text was actually quite confusing. The way the words used by William Shakespeare was different from the mordern times. The summary of Act 1 Scene 2 goes something like this:
1. King Duncan met with the captain that came from the war
2. Macbeth won the war and he defeated the enemies.
3.Then, there is a new enemy which was the Norwegian king. They fought with Macbeth and again, Macbeth won the second war.
4. After the war, there was a treaty between Macbeth and the Norwegian king. Macbeth wanted the Norwegian king to pay them ten thousand dollars and retreat to Saint Colme's Inch or he would not let him bury him men. this shows that Macbeth was dishonouring/disrespecting the Norwegian king.
Then, Miss Maly wanted us to do a comic strip on Act 1 Scene 2. I'm not a good artist... But I'll have to try:)

The last time we had Literature lesson, Miss Maly asked us this question: Has there ever been a time in your life when someone told you that something improbable would happen and it did? Did the fact that the event was "predicted" cause you to bahave differently that you would have otherwise and make it more like ly for the event to occur? Or did the event simply seem to occur without any assistance from you?
Well, my answer would probably go like this:
Dear diary,
Today was a really weird day. I totally just freaked out. When I was going out today, walking along the streets, there was this elderly woman who came up to me. She seems really familiar, like I have seen her before... But it was very vague, probably once in a dream... I don't know, it was creeepy. It felt like Déjà vu... She called out to someone... I thought it was someone behind me, but there wasn't anyone behind. So I just walked over to her, thinking that she coulnd't hurt me, for she is just an old woman. As weird as it felt, when I walked closer over to her, I felt this weird aura around her, as if she wasn't just an ordinary human being, but I ignored it and just continued walking towards her. Once I was in front of her, she spoke to me in a raspy voice. She said, ' Ah girl arh... I tell you arh, on your birthday, you'll meet this guy, and he'll be the love of your life... Trust me.' I stood there speechless. What she said was interesting, very weird. I just didn't want to believe her, 'cause i don't know if it's true... Isn't it weird? An old woman out of nowhere, coming up to you and tells you about your future. You wouldn't believe her too, don't you? But the weird thing was, a few weeks later, on my birthday, miraculously, whatever the ekderly woman who I encountered said did come true! I totally couldn't believe it! I would always remember what that old woman told me.

Hiya. This is a reflection on Cinquain, a lesson I've learnt in literature. Cinquian, in french, means 5, so it's a poem that consists of 5 lines.
1st line: noun/topic
2nd line:2 adjectives
3rd line: 3 gerunds
4th line: 1 short complete sentence
5th line: 1 synonym
This poem doen't have to rhyme and it's easier to write than whatever poems we have to write last year. I've written a poem in class, and it's like this:
Me
Crazy. Lively.
Chatting, sleeping, laughing
I am who I am
Jamie
Yeah, I know it's kinda lame:D But I don't care^^
